Trump/Kelly Feud? Give me a Break!

I really don’t understand the so called “feud” between Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly. In a GOP debate, Kelly questioned Trump’s rhetoric towards women. She specifically asked him about name calling, “fat” or “dog” when responding to female critics. I’m not sure why this took Trump off guard, but the next day, in reply, Trump felt she was after him and said “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.” And, Trump felt Kelly should apologize.

What Kelly asked Trump in the debate were standard debate questions. Since half the American population is female, Trump’s staff should have briefed Trump on an answer or at the very least, they should have warned him that his rhetoric towards women would come up. Not being prepared for the question is on Trump and not Kelly. This has happened throughout his campaign. If he is caught off guard, or he doesn’t like what you said, he attacks the person and not the idea. Interestingly though, and I may be wrong, but it seems when women disagree with him, his attacks are more about their physical appearance. Another example of this would be with Carly Fiorina. In Rolling Stone magazine Trump was quoted saying this about Carly Fiorina, “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!”

Yesterday I found out that Trump is considering boycotting Thursday’s debate because Kelly will be one of the moderators of the debate.

I get that Mr. Trump is a very rich and power man. I get that he is probably not used to people disagreeing with him. But, for the rest of us, we have to go to work and deal with people we don’t particularly like. We don’t say we are not going to our job because so and so is going to be there. No, instead we play nice and get the job done. If Trump can’t handle working with people he doesn’t like on the campaign, how is he going to react if he became president?

I think this whole Kelly/Trump feud is just bogus hype coming from the Trump camp to try to deflect from Trump’s real attitude towards women. What a waste of time and money. All of this garbage because one woman was doing her job and as a result, bruised a tycoon’s ego.

Update as of 6:30 -1/27/16

I just read that Trump did bow out of the debate. Spoil rotten, rich, brat or presidential candidate?
